What Effect Does Biotin Have On The Skin?

I'm trying to balance a good amount of moisture and oil on my face, but I don't want my face to be too oily, does biotin increase oil production on the face?

When I was taking Biotin pills my hair and fingernails grew a lot and my skin was oilier.

Okay thanks. Would you say biotin is a bad idea for dry skin? I've read a lot about how it's very important for skin and can help dry skin, but I've also read that excessive oil is a sign of dry skin, so it seems contradictory

Biotin gave me big cystic pimples.  :(

I'd stay away from biotin. It made my skin oilier and gave me more acne.
