For many years, due to the rules being abused by a select few, the lounge (acne.org's off topic forum) has been open only to veteran members. However we've taken the decision to trial opening the lounge up to all members. 

 

The lounge is a great place to make new friends and talk about just about anything, within the rules. It's likely many of your didn't even know the lounge existed?
