Based on member feedback, we've made a small tweak to the signature guidelines.

You may have noticed, there has been an increase in larger signatures, that technically were not breaking the rules. However, they were making threads more difficult to read for many members.

To address this issue, we've introduced a new rule, that limits all members to a maximum of 12 lines. Like so:

Line 1

Line 2

Line 3

Line 4

Line 5

Line 6

Line 7

Line 8

Line 9

Line 10

Line 11

Line 12

This won't apply to the vast majority of you, but it will enhance the experience on the boards for us all. If you can all check your signatures, and ensure they're below 12 lines, that would be a big help and save the moderating team a lot of time.

I'd also like to make you all aware of a cool feature, that often gets missed. You can actually block a specific members signature or alternatively you can block all signatures, like so:

If you choose to hide all signatures, but later decide you'd like to revert this preference, simply visit 'My Settings' from your user menu at the top right of the screen, and select 'Ignore Preferences' and un-tick the option that says 'Ignore all signatures when reading topics and personal messages'.

For full signature guidelines, check out the board rules.

Many thanks,

Paul
