hey i just wanted to ask if it was ok for a 14 year old boy to take 10000 IU of vitamin A (5000 in the morning and 5000 at night). if you have any tips or advice i'd like to here it. thanks

i think that should be ok but you should consult your doctor to be safe. you don't want to take too much since it can be toxic.

I would advise you to try Vitamin D instead. It has cured me of both oily skin and severe acne. I have done Accutane 3 times and have also been on vitamin A (a special type prescribed by a doc) and although it might help a bit you would need dangerously high doses over long term to be effective and in my opinion in not worth it. It is much safer to try Vitamin D3 in dosages ranging from 1000-5000IU and like I said I am virtually cured now by taking a standard over the counter vitamin D3 tablet every day.

That amount is fine. Take Beta-Carotene if you are worried about toxicity.
