Somebody needs to tell this Heisman Trophy winning athlete that he needs to eat healthier and exercise more!
Foods to avoid: Meat, dairy, fruits, vegetables, grains, fats/sweets....

Once again you demonstrate that you don't comprehend anything about health or acne.

Pro athletes exercise too much. I don't know what his diet is, but its pretty likely it's filled with unhealthy things.

I know you prefer to believe we believe every food causes acne, but if you'd Pay less attention to every kids asking if this or that causes acne and freaking out over every little thing and pay more attention to the people that answer them with real information, you might learn something.

Status: Clear after 30 years. Wow, I guess it's been 6 years, now.

[ Story: Severe Acne since I was 10. 10+ years of Dermatologists, Antibiotics, topicals and ACCUTANE did nothing. Discovered oranges triggered the worst of my cystic acne = about 70% improvement. Tried some nutrient supplements like B-complex with zinc and C, saw palmetto and a BHA like the aspirin mask = more improvement, a lot less oily. Then, Diet changes = Clear.

Regimen: Anti-inflammatory, nutrient dense, blood sugar stabilizing diet and supplements (for hormones, inflammation, aging, health). No soap or other cleanser except for hand washing! Water only or Oil cleanse. Aloe Vera mixed with niacinimide and a high linoleic acid oil for moisturizer and reduce pigmentation.

Diet effects acne in so many ways: hormone balance, inflammation, Insulin levels, digestion, allergies and intolerances, liver function, adrenal function, SHBG levels, sebum quality, cell function and turnover, nutrient deficiencies, body fat, etc. Basic advice: Eat, sleep, supplement and exercise like you are a diabetic. And eat real food!

Is it just me or does Johnny Football look like he's in his 40's? Great player, naturally I'm a fan being a Texas kid. :)

BSDetector, I know you don't exactly appreciate the nutrition & holistic health forum, but you haven't provided any information about the background and lifestyle/diet of this Manziel guy, so there's nothing to discuss here. Being a sportsman doesn't imply being healthy per se.
