Hi,

Got 2 months supply of 300mg lymecycline today from my doc.

First of all after reading lots of posts I'm wondering if it's even worth trying, if it does work they seem to just come back when you stop taking the tablets?!

Also the serious side effects listed concern me particularly permanent vision loss and liver damage!

Lots of people saying they suffer a lot with yeast infections due to it killing the friendly bacteria.

Any advice would be appreciated

I never had any side effects & was on Lymecycline for ~9months some years ago. Women have to be a little careful with yeast infections on any antibiotic.

 

It's highly unlikely you'll experience any noticeable side effects unless you happen to be acutely allergic to it (very rare) or a hypochondriac.

I too were prescribed 2 months of Lymecycline on Tuesday and have taken my first dose today. I was wondering if you have seen any effects (either positive or negative) during your first week of treatment.
