Sebaceous Filaments? All Over Face (Pics)

10 posts in this topic

What is this? I've had these for like 3-4 years and it's getting worse every day it seems... ughhhhhhh.

Like whenever i'm washing my face with anything I rub it into my skin and my skin looks so soft and smooth and normal. After I wash it off and my face dries It goes back to looking like this. It's really depressing because i'm the only person i've ever seen that has skin like this.

You probably have oily skin people with oily skin tend to have bigger pores. Also big pores are more prevalent in males than females

It looks like you have slightly enlarged pores, which is completely normal considering you are a male and it looks like you have oily skin. I can't see any filaments. If your face feels 'gritty', you need to exfoliate more.

Finished Tetralysal on 12/04/13

Quinoderm 10 once a week

Gedarel 30/150 as current treatment.

This is called enlarged pores or orange peel skin. Many males naturally have skin like this, even if they never have acne, because males generally produce more oil once they hit puberty.

I don't know how you've never seen people with skin like this. This is like the skin of pretty much every man I've ever met. Only guys without skin like this are like...12 years old...

It's just mature male skin.

I see this on their nose but not their forehead or cheeks? Idk it seems like my friends have very smooth skin with the occasional inflamed pimple.
