There's nothing WRONG with tea bags...it's just alot of people including myself believe the higher quality green tea is the loose leafs.

You see supermarket green tea bags are low quality green tea leafs.

basically you get what you pay for biggrin.gif

When i used tea bags i did notice a diffrence in 4 days, since using tea leafs i noticed an even bette improvement of 20% in 2 day's rathe than 4 with tea bags.

IF YOU CAN..get the tea leafs loose!

I prefer, and have it loose, but I don't notice any difference other than the taste.
Please only PM me if it's something that cannot be talked about on the thread or is highly personal. This way, everyone benefits.

I have to say i did notice a bigger improvement once i changed to tea leafs instead of bags.

But now somebody has said it might be to do with the lower intake of milk now i drink tea without milk......

Could this be the reason the acne improves or would it be the green tea that's doing it?

HMMM!

It is worth finding the leaves. Don't get too expectant of massive results though. It's one part of the puzzle but not an entire solution to your acne (though Ryan seems to have very good results).

I still get acne deluxdog my friend, just i only get like 1 maybe 2 spots every 4-5 days now instead of new ones everyday.

Also there very small and not very big atall...

Also my red marks HAVE faded but aren't sure if this is related or maybe just that my diet is ALOT better!.

My Current diet a it stands (Under construction...LOL)

NO crisp
NO fizzy drinks
NO chocolate
NO added sugar on cereal or tea
NO sweets
NO diluted orange...or very very little

Thx

Well i still drink milk with tea...but very rare

I think it's the green tea itself that is helping me bigtime!

Got a day off work on monday, gonna buy some white tea as it's just as good if not better than green tea from what i've researched.

I got some loose leaf, chinese, organic green tea this week and I must say that it's a lot easier to drink, I'm still not hugely fussed on the taste but it's not as bad as the tea bags were.

As for white tea, isn't that supposed to be expensive?

You get them in box/tube form...also you use a strainer to be able to use them for tea.

Sorry but i'm not gonna even bother to say much about the green tea capsules,acept...WHY NOT DO IT NATURAL WAY?!

Why does everyone want the easy solution (and lazy solution) to getting out the goodness of green tea?.

Also there is caffeine free green tea,but i think in certain circumstances it can take some of the goodness out of the tea,it's to do with the way they get rid of the caffeine (Their process)

The reason I want the capsules is because I heard that they did not contain caffeine. Since I am trying to get pregnant, the caffeine isn't a good idea for me...so says the doctor.

This is why i was asking....i am certainly not trying to take the easy way out.

Sorry pbear,i waqsn't aware of your situation...i apologize!

Ok i think your best option would be to find some de-caf green tea (from what i hear you CAN get it)

i think alot of sites say it depends on the process the company of the de-caf green tea you buy from use to get rid of the caffeine in the green tea.

Read up on my post about teas down farther on this board. THere are better teas for acne than green IMO. As for general health, my dad has had amazing results with Pu-erh. The doctor took him off his cholesterol meds because the tea did a better job. PLus with the fat metabolization it's good for acne.
