Yeah it should be fine. I can see getting a breakout from a peel but with microderm it seems like it wouldn't.
Feeling okay. I had some insomnia that seems to be working itself out. My IB is healing and hopefully that'll be the last of it:/

cool and thanks i feel a lot better about it. its crazy now with being pretty much clear that i get so paranoid about chaning anything up ya know? ugh insomnia sucks but glad you are doing better now and thats great news about the ib. i am praying that it will be over with soon and that you wont get anymore breakouts but i have heard they do heal quicker when on accutane so stay positive and juust think how awesome your skin is gonna look after this is all over.

so how is married life?

Yeah it's like you finally have that perfect "ecosystem" of good skin haha maybe wait a little while before? It sounds like the medication your on is working!
It's good, pretty much the same as before haha I'm waiting on a call back from a job I interviewed with on Friday. I hate waiting:(

yeah i hear ya there its scary to make any changes but i want to start these medical microderms now becuase we are going away for memorial day and i want to look at least a little bit better by then if i can. i might call and make an appointment for next week. i will keep you updated!

This big IB is on its way out and my skin is smoothing out a lot. I think this may be the last of it!!

Yeah I am on the month marks. I'm coming up on ending my first month. I woke up with two new pimples today but they're different? If that makes sense. They're not as inflamed and they're not pop able lol where as before they would go crazy overnight and I could extract them. I'm trying to leave my face alone as much as possible

that's cool and glad that your pimples are not as inflamed. are they gone now? i have heard that with accutane the pimples when you get them dont stay around as long. how are you doing today?

Yeah it's come and go, I guess it's been a month now and I can say I really don't see much of a difference other than being really really dry. My lips look awful and I'm getting some itchy dry rash on my hands. I had my second blood test on Monday and I have my derm apt this Monday to get month two. Hopefully that goes well and she can reassure me because I'm not seeing much of a change:/
I just got back from Chicago and it was soo cold and dry. It killed my skin ugh. I was so dry and flaky and I doesn't help that everyone there has that effortless amazing skin:/
How's your skin? Did you schedule your microderm?

I just had my derm appointment today and she bumped me up to 80 mg a day now. She said the 40 mg was to see how well I tolerated it and since my bloodwork was fine I can go a little higher. Hopefully I'll start seeing results now. I'm soo dry! My lips drive me crazy and the inside of my nose hurts from being so dry:( hopefully it'll all be worth it!

Yeah I was kinda shocked. I got a massive breakout in the last two days. It seems like it never ends:/ just when it looks like its getting better it break out all over again. I don't see an end in sight..

i bet the breakout is from the higher dosage. i have heard that everytime the dose is upped with accutane people breakout but dont worry it will be over before you know it. just remember that in a few months this will all be over with and you will be happy again. just try to focus on the long term goal and know that each day is closer to the end. you can always email me at khowz2018@yahoo.com if you need to talk.

I just started my third month, still 80mg and I THINK it's starting to work! I went out this weekend with only a little bit of powder and concealer. I notice my skin texture is starting to smooth out a lot also. It's strange, I remember a long time ago when I was on Retin A MIcro and it was working really well for me my skin resembled how it is now. Kind of funny how a similar topical and internal medicine function the same lol

Starting month 4! It's gotten so much better but now I feel like I've hit a plateau and I'm stuck at the 1-2 pimples stage. Not bad though, especially at what it was before. The only problem is what I do get is so slow to heal and my skin is super fragile so no picking at all! The way my skin get so dry is wacky too, even my ears get flaky if I don't moisturize. Hope you're doing well! How's your treatment?
