Well if ur girl gave up on u because of acne, then i say u had a lucky escape! Quiet saddening to think how vein people are!

My advise would be to wash ur face gently so u dont cause friction on ur skin (read more about it on the regimen!) spots hate to be aggrivated and disturbed.
Steam ur face over bowl with hot water.
Then crush a few asprin and mix with a little water, use as a face mask, this has a drying effect so be sure to moisturise after.
Change ur pillow case every 3 or 4 nights.
And forget the girl, shes not worth the stress related spots!

Hope this helps
x

Chemical peels should only be done when your acne is fully gone.

Your acne is not that bad, seriously I don't know any girls who would break up with a guy over your level of acne, and I know some pretty superficial people. I will bet good money there were other things going on in your relationship. So cross that idea out right now. Yeah it's important to solve the acne problem but don't blame the breakup on it.

Have you tried products with benzoyl peroxide and sulfur? For people with acne as mild as yours, they usually work. That will at least keep the acne down so you don't get new marks.

To treat the existing marks, you might want to try a hydroquinone cream like this one at Walgreens. Many people recommend prescription retinoid creams, but as someone who has used them for years and spent thousands of dollars on them (with my insurance it costs $120 for one tiny tube), I would say they aren't worth the money. For red marks hydroquinone lightens faster in my opinion.

i suggest using either the M2 cream which is a skin refinement lotion, as well as, tea tree oil which also helps with skin healing.

i think your acne looks a lot like mine. my face is more irritated and red though :( and i think were at the same emotionall stage here.. it feels like my face never will be normal, cause the improvement is so slow. im looking for a product to reduce hyperpigmentation as well. let me know if you find something that works :)

I have sever hyper pigmentation too. My derm has prescribed me a cream calles Skinoren and I've been using it for 2 weeks now. I haven't seen any difference yet, but just look at the reviews for it on this website; they are amazzzing rolleyes.gif  Might be worth a try for you, just praying it works for me, good luck! eusa_pray.gif
