Here's hoping. Sick enough of the clogged pores on my chin, now I'm getting them (with some inflammation) around my brow line. The spot between my nose and mouth has been very clogged recently too. I've been using an aspirin mask on these areas for the past couple nights for about 45 minutes and seen great improvement in the area between nose and mouth. So that's uplifting!

If it doesn't help, consider a stronger formulation. 2% BHA was too weak for me. I see better results on 5% and 10%.

Thanks for the input - I initially used the BHA twice a day but it caused redness and some flaking. So I stopped using it for maybe 3 days until the redness subsided and flakiness decreased. Now I primarily use it in the evenings. However, like I did today, I sometimes dab a little on major problem spots after my shower.

If you've used strong salicylic acid before, have you ever experienced dry, very scaly, almost scabby skin because of it? I've now been using 5% salicylic acid daily for a week, and the effects on my skin have not been positive so far. :/ I'm having a break now and I hope this effect goes away fast. I made a thread about it in another subforum, but I don't know if there are that many people here that use products with 5% SA or more and could share their experiences.
