Title says it all really. I'm anxious for my acne to clear up asap! I know it will take months... but how many? So sick of this, my face is such a mess

First time round i noticed considerably less breakouts at 3/4 months was virtually clear at 6
2nd time round aboug the same
3rd time still not clear at 6

Most birth controls take 6 months to see full results.

Thanks that's really helpful! Was your acne when you came off it even worse that before you went on it? Or just the same as it was before treatment? The thought of it coming back worse scares me... I'm hoping to be able to stay on it a long time, like til when (if) I want to reproduce! My Dr said I was healthy and had no risk factors for dvt etc. so he said I could stay on it for years... But I'm not sure how many that means! Really hope you clear up soon Benzoyl peroxide is tiding me over quite nicely but I'd rather not use it.

i took Diane 35 (same as diane 35) and for some reason my skin got really bad when i went of it. it's well documented that this occurs really badly after Diane/Dianette. I got clear pretty fast on it, only a couple of months but i developed thrombosis and i also gained a lot of weight.

This didn't happen with other pills i took (eg Belara).
