Hey everyone i have been doing low carb diet for a long time now and its working forsure because i am all clear.
I am just wondering if i take a weight gain supplement on a highfat/low carb diet will it affect my acne?
Cause its obviously the carbs that messes with the blood sugar so i don't see how a weight gain supplement should give me any problems?

Why do you need a weight gain supplement? just eat more food. Find your maintenance calories and then eat more than that. I'd advise against weight gain supplements as they're typically stuffed with all manner of crap. Also correct me if I'm wrong but the speed at which your blood sugar is raised, is dependant on the entire meal. Unless you're eating something like plain white rice on it's own (without protein or fat), you wouldn't have a sharp increase in insulin afterwards. This is my understanding.

I don't think this answers my question about it causing acne or not.

Have you identified, what exactly causes your acne?. Otherwise it'll just be a shot in the dark to say yes/no without knowing. You could respond badly to the soy in the product for example. Even if it's low carb, there may be another trigger for your acne that the product may set off. Your best bet would be to post the ingredients on here dude.
