I have a bottle of Jojoba oil that I'm sure I purchased in 2009 and I decided to use it as a moisturizer as I'm out of my regular moisturizer at the moment. It suddenly dawned at me to check the bottom of the bottle and I noticed it says "12/10" is this an expiration date? I read that since its a wax and not an actual oil, golden jojoba oil should last a long time. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Poor some out into a bowl, check if it has de-emulsified, that's normally what happens with skin products.

I'm not quite sure I know what de-emulsified means. I searched it but I'm still not quite sure what the meaning is. Could you clear it up for me?
