I had my bacne so under control for the first time in years, it was amazing. I was using a retinoid in conjunction with sodium sulfacetamide foam, but now every drugstore seems to be out of it. It is a prescription and the pharmacist simply say they can't get it at both cvs and rite aid. What is going on?! If anyone could shed light on this situation I'd totally appreciate it. I'm out and my back is reverting : (

1) Try Walgreens or a specialty pharmacy in your area.
2) Get hold of your derm doc and get new prescription for generic version of the foam, or a different form of the sodium sulfacetimide like lotion, gel, etc. I know it comes in lotion form because I have it.
3) Contact the manufacturer of your current foam to get confirmation if the product is discontinued, renamed, etc. I've had to do this before.
