I don't even know what I was thinking. I'm 34- and know better than this

I ran out of my normal (high end) foundation- and used a generic for a few days until I made it to the store.

Got a pimple on Friday on the side of my face that HURT. Tried to pop it, even though there was no head. Big mistake-throbbing pain.
Saturday cleaned it kept makeup off it except a few hours. Put hydrogen peroxide on it and tea tree oil. Formed dark spot in the center- thinking it was maybe a back head -tried to pop it. I know you all are thinking LEAVE IT ALONE-
I didn't. I picked at it just got more painful. Cleaned and applied hot compresses and tea tree oil. After I applied it the last time I ended up with not only a HUGE zit, but blisters all around it! It's SOO bad. It's red and purple like I've been hit in the face.

I normally have clear pretty skin. Everyone compliments me. Tomorrow I have to train a huge class of executives at work. At this point I used soap and water to clean it with a sterile pad and covered it with antibiotic ointment hoping tomorrow I am at least able to hide it with makeup or something for my class.

Do I need to see a doctor?

The damage
and the pic below that was taken Thursday with no outbreaks

I don't know if its gone away yet or not but what you can do is stick a little needle sidways under only the top layer od skin and kind of lift the needle up so it give the medication acess to the actual infection instead of sitting on top of the skin. I do this all the time. It either pops it a the pus and infection comes out or it just lets you get medication in it. After I do this I put hydrogen peroxide all over that area and it normally goes away pretty quick
