I am 20 years old. This past summer my acne moved from mild to severe cystic acne. I found the DK regimen and got okay results. I did find that even if my skin wasn't improving that much it always felt comfortable, not much itching or dryness.

I recently went to a derm and got prescribed Differin & Azithromycin (oral antibiotic)
I am two days into the treatment and my skin has never looked worse. I have a massive cystic pimple next my nose and several other bright read cystic pimples on my cheeks and chin. I am so tired of having to worry about my horrible skin everyday, I feel like im wasting what are suppose to be the best years of my life. I am at the end of the line I don't know whether to trust the derm or go back to the DK regimen.

I am wondering if anyone has found an effective regimen for Differin. Can I use it with bp to keep my skin from getting oily during the day ? Should I use a moisturizer with it ? Has Differin been effective ? and how long did it take to show results ?
