I have had acne since middle school and I am 16 now. It used to be just one or two pimples on the forehead every week, but starting from
one year ago I have been getting acne all over my face, especially my cheeks. It starts off as a small bump and grows into a large
pustule filled with pus. I went to a dermatologist and they gave me diferin and told me to use cetaphil face wash and moisterizer, but none of
those worked. It has gotten to the point where I do not want to go out and I feel really insecure and almost depressed. Any help would
be greatly appreciated~also how do i get rid of these black marks and scars.

Hey there. How long has it been since you were prescribed Differin? I know we all want instant results but the truth is a lot of things in life takes time. I too went to the doctors at 17 and just quit when I didn't see results. I went back to the doctors now at 27 and was prescribed Accutane. Even with accutane it takes time.

If it's been four months then you should speak with your dermatologist.
