Hey guys, so I've suffered for acne for about 5 or 6 years now, what should have been some of my best years, have been my worst, and I'm getting quite sick of it. I went on accutane 2 years ago and it cleared up all my cysts from my acne, I never got to finish the entire Accutane course because my Derm moved to the states and my new one suck (Won't perscribe accutane, and gives me useless topical which can barely suppress my breakouts.)

Anyway so now I'm on my own and I've pretty much figured out how to suppress my cysts, only having one every once in a while thanks to a daily regimine but no matter what I can't get rid of these dam whiteheads! I swear I've had some in the same spots they were in 5 years ago! I can't be certain because they're so small and theres so many, it can really only be seen if I stretch my face, however when there are numerous of them in one spot it appears to look bumpy.

I've also learnt that these can turn into cysts over-time which would explain my break outs every-once in a while. So I was looking online today and I found something very interesting called the Derma-roll it's a small stick that has a cylinder on it with hundreds of these steel pins, you roll this over your face which is creating these tiny non-visible holes that according to White Lotus(an Australasian anti-aging company that has studied foreign techniques) stimulates collagen production by up to 1000% in addition it apparently increases absorption of topicals by x10 000

I've been looking all over but any information I find on this product is always related to anti-aging and people trying to rid scars they've gotten from acne, what I want to know is what can this product do for me if I am still suffering from acne?Can I use the pins to unclog pores such as whiteheads? Can I use this to allow salicylic acid or other topicals to better penetrate my acne?

Should a product like this be used when you still have any acne?

I really need to get rid of this problem already...

This stuff has unclogged my stubborn pores that have been clogged for literally years. After 3 weeks I had unclogged 10 pores that I've had for over 5 years.

I have the same issue and I've tried BP and SA but their still there. It seems like nothing can rid these whiteheads but extractions. i extract them all the time but then a few days later they form into little whiteheads again. sorry that I'm not much of help. Im also looking for the answer to treating these ANNOYING boogers.

Haha thats okay, good to know someone shares my pain XD, yeah that sounds exactly like what I have, I extract them and they look as if they're gone, but of course they just come right back in a day or so =/, I tried putting BA/SA right after but that doesn't do much either. I just ordered this 'DermaRoller' thing, it will probably back-fire like most things I've tried, but I'll give it a shot, if it works i'll let you know

Thankss I got the 'ZGTS Luxury Roller' off ebay, it was about $27 with shipping, not too bad. I don't have the highest expectations for it though because I can't find any information about people using this to treat acne so don't get your hopes up.

Yes! Finally other people interested in derma rolling for closed comedones. I bought the 0.5mm from skinmedix. I mainly got it for my scars. I wanted to start small because I didn't know what to expect. I use the derma roller twice a week with medium pressure. Sometimes I get aggressive with the rolling. The third time I used the roller my closed comedones were practically gone!!

I use a mixture of fruit fresh and glycerin after I roll my face. I leave it on as long as I can stand it hahaha! Starts to itch and burn after 20 mins.

Well good luck on the derma roller i did some research of it on my own and i don't think i could use it on my skin now
because i still have active acne and i think i would bleed and scar. sadly. I will probably use it one my skin when it heals and i no longer have actives !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I derma rolled this evening and accidentally went over a couple pimples. They are the kind of pimples that are inflamed, red but with no visible head. It didn't hurt when they were rolled over sooo now the waiting game.

I'll let you guys know what happens to them.

Retin A Micro was the only thing that cleared the many clogged pores on my chin. It takes a while to work, but it's great not feeling those wicked little things whenever I touch my face.

Using a 0.5mm derma roller on my cyst type pimple didn't effect it at all.
