For the past 12 weeks I've been using Epiduo, which my skin is really quite clear except for 1 patch on my cheek that has been there for months. Now, that said patch has been improved by the help of the Epiduo, but I'm just starting to get to a stage where I feel as if I'm wasting my time.
When I first visited my derm, she suggested that I may need to look into using a chemical peel if the Epiduo is unsuccessful and that really doesn't sound too appealing to me. Would attempting to see another dermatologist be useful? Or, is there anything I can do to help improve the results of the Epiduo?
The patch kinda looks like this picture, though it'd definitely be around half the size (the size of what's circled):
