Hello,

I did some searching but didn't find anything regarding this. I accidently shaved over a mid-to-large sized whitehead. I was trying to shave around it, but it didn't work out. Will it leave a scar? Can I apply a bandaid and/or ointment to make sure it doesn't scar?

When you say whitehead I take it you mean a Pustule? Personally I've never got scaring from doing this but I've had acne for years and have never had any scaring. My skin is sort of Olive so I'm not sure if its to do with that. I'm currently using a bread trimmer to shave but when I used to wet shave and had a pustule with a head I'd just shave over it. I've never understood how you could even shave around a spot. Surely it would look awful, sort of like a spot covered in hair on a well shaven face?

Just leave it be and it should heal itself. Maybe with a touch of Sudocrem or similar on it at night.
