Doxycyline Questions

should i keep taking it?

I have been on Doxycycline(100 mg twice a day with Epiduo) for about 8 months now. I have definitely seen overall improvement, but my skin is definitely not perfect. For the past few weeks my skin seems likes its slowly been getting worse and I am not sure if I should continue taking it.

Has anyone had any similar experiences where Doxy gradually seems to stop working?

Do you think I should continue taking it or go back to my derm and try a different antibiotic?

Any antibiotic will stop working after several months of usage because bacteria can adapt and build a resistance to the medicine. You should definitely go back to the derm to switch antibiotics since you're acne is getting worse.
