overpicked a zit...it sucks. it's been about 3 days, in the middle of my forehead...sooo its super embarassing.
im hoping it'll be gone in a month or so, (that's what my friends think). but by the beginning of December is when I reallllly need it gone by, because I'm going on vacation then. and i HATE wearing makeup.

i've been using Vitamin E oil on it, but i just started doing that this morning.

Absolutely. I reckon the worst of it will be gone in a week or so if you can manage to keep yourself from picking or touching it. After that, you may or may not have a little red mark that will take a bit longer to clear (hard to guage how long as everyone's skin is different, maybe a month or two, 3 at most) but it won't be as inflamed looking even if it does linger for a bit.

DO NOT put vitamin E oil on it!! It will only make you break out more. Don't pick it anymore obviously.. just fight the temptation lol and cleanse your skin regularly and apply something specialized for acne on it. Tea tree oil, benzoyl peroxide, or salicylic acid if that works for you.

Honey can help to really cleanse the pores too. It also helps get rid of scars when paired with some lemon juice as a mask.

I wish you luck and clear skin. :)

so I woke up this morning and the skin was sooo dry. it looked like a semi scab. anyway, after I washed my face it literally peeled off :) it doesn't look As dark but it's still highly noticeable. it's really raw and pink but it also looks dark and purple. kind of hard to explain. I put honey on it after the skin on top of it peeled off. so now it really is a scar. does anyone recommend bio oil? I have a bottle from last year when there was a scar on my nose

thanks! yeah, it's not that bad & i can cover it up reallly easily. one concern i have though: when i touch it, it doesn't feel like the rest of my skn. it's not inflammed anymore and its not a pimple, but it just feels really leathery and dry..

This is false. Please show me proof that Vitamin E oil makes you break out. AFAIK, the most common vit E derivative, Tocepherol Acetate, is non-comedogenic, so breaking out due to it is a physical impossibility.

Ask anybody on here.. vitamin E oil can cause little bumps under the skin, the noninflammed type acne. Sure it's good for the skin but because it is an oil it's really not great for your face if you're acne-prone.

yeah, you're right. i've had the tiny bumps on my forehead for a few days now, ever since i started using the Vit E oil. I'm stopping it now, and i'm using another product called fair & lovely which has faded my dark spots within a week or 2 in the past.

It will definitely be very faded by December. Maybe not completely gone (hyperpigmentation can last for a while, as you probably know) but at least much less pigmented than it is now. On the plus side, it doesn't look bad to begin with. So don't worry!

you are soooo pretty! any skin problems you may have are overshadowed by your facial features. but glad it's fading so much! i have similar skin tone to you so that gives me hope for my marks!
