Hi everyone :) my name is Nikki. I've always relied on acne.org for advice but I haven't really posted on the site until, well, today!

Please take a look at the forum I've linked to below. I am desperate for help. I'm leaving to study abroad in London in a couple of weeks, and I just want to be clear *enough* so I can enjoy myself overseas!!!

Thank you x a million!

Honestly I don't know what advice to give. I took a look at your history and it appears you took all the proper steps. Antibiotics, and Birth-Control meds are the first drugs that come to mind.

In all honestly? Your skin looks fine. You look beautiful and I doubt anyone will notice your "pimples." We are our own worst critic and you sound a lot like me, an attempt for perfection. Go out to London and have a great time!!

Ok you want clear skin... me too Posted Image ....so you want the magic drug to make it go away ..great Posted Image i want that too

<.<
>.>

Im a noob compared to you, I havent used accutane at all... But i have been looking out for some new forms or acne treatments.

So far the only new thing i've found is the Micro-Benzoyl peroxide Foaming clenser from Acne free which doesnt irritate at all (it still stings) but it does not overdry (and im using Tazorac with this). Supposedly, according to them : Typical Benzoyl Peroxide molecules are too big to fit into pores. AcneFree's Benzoyl Peroxide is 60x smaller to immediately absorb deep inside pores and kill 99% of acne bacteria on contact

They say Thyme is the new best thing for Acne (its the magic drug) but they warn not to make home remedies because you need the exact tincture needed to see mind blowing results.

They also say (activated Charcoal and Calcium bentonite masks are great for your skin) --so i bought masks of both these miracle ingridients. YAY! -.-

Doctor oz Said DHA 600 a day helps with acne too (DHA is in OMEGa 3) i currently take 2000- 4000mg (2-4 grams) of DHA a day. It says it also helps your brain function a billion times better and helps your mood and it makes you feel guuurrrrraaate!. (i made the last part up, but it says on my Natures Way Mega DHA that it helps mood and brain function and its great for the heart and overall health)

Anyways i remember watching Zoolander tell the reporter Mathilda (the Main actress ) she shouldn't have her hair pulled back so tight because it pulls back the skin on her forehead creating a tension which causes the pores to clog.
JUST sayin.

And then people say...o you are what you eat...And i say BULLCrud . Eat what you want as long as you're happy and dont feel bad. Stress about food can cause the acne and not the food itself. If you're stressed so much,Laugh out Loud and dont lol texting and Practice what you text and Laugh out Loud in real life, Watch a comedy or stand up comedy, and get happy and change your mood, just laugh.

And never EVER pick at your acne with your fingers or anything maybe only when you have to pop a white head (A WHITE HEAD THAT HAS PUSS in it (and use a needle , burn the tip in fire, and use q-tips with some moisturizer or creamy cleanser to push around it gently until you hit the pressure points and then gently push out the puss) NEver use your nails, i dont know why anyone even touches their face with their fingers, unless its while putting on acne medication or cleansing.

My last tip: notice what you're doing to your forehead during the day...DO you touch it during the day with non clean fingers? DOes your hair fall on it? Do you wear make up that has 1 comedogenic ingridient???

And go to your dermatologist if you have insurance and tell them to give you the newest Magic thing out there, because believe me...I have no insurance and Tazorac .05% cream costs $467 dollars without insurance and im like Posted Image

Most importantly just feel good, i've been dealing with acne since i was 12 im 24 now...and i still feel like i dont have a clue as to what im doing...but im doing something, I been trying to convince my derm i need Accutane, and she says it's too soon for that...so im on Taz for now, and it does exfoliate the skin very well, better than all Acids out there, EVER.

O yeah, And Air Dry your face (not with a fan, just let your face dry without doing anything to it), dont pat dry....Air dry, just dry your hair and eyebrows, but dont pat dry your face....stuff in towels can easily clogg your pores. I have not pat dried in years.

That's all i can give you ...
