Moisturizer Question

Hi,i just wanted to know is it important to Moisturize everyday even if your skin is not dry? all i have left now is red marks,im using Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream.

whenever i put on the Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream for Dry skin,my skin turns super red where the acne is,is that normal?

What else do you do with your skin? Only applying moisturizer would not have that effect. Well at least I never experienced it. ;)

My skin would turn red only with certain lotions. I use Cerave cream (can find it at Walgreens) and it works out really well. The red face is going to be typical while on accutane. My derm said to apply 1% hydrocortizone cream twice a day to help with redness but I haven't done that consistently enough to say whether it works. Apply moisturizer regardless of whether your skin is dry or not. It is easier to prevent a problem than try to fix one later.
