I'm happy to be a new member of acne.org and I'm desperately trying to find solutions like everyone else out there. Idk, acne is just one of those really unlucky encounters and one thats really really hard to get rid of. I have tried many solutions but nothing really works, and I don't want to try things like BP, Accutane, and topicals that the dermotologists gives you. So I have decided to go completely natural. It worked for a short amount of time, but I noticed that it's just going into a cycle. I'm sure many of you are experiencing the same problem of your acne improving, then getting worse again. I have been repeating this pattern for so so long and it's getting really annoying. Since I'm currently a 17 year old teenage guy, I wonder if I just have to get through with this and hope that it goes away after my puberty ages are over. Or is it a more serious problem with the liver or something. I'm just really confused right now because everything I'm trying is not working or is just creating this cycle.
This is currently my regimen:
Cleanse - Saje Zap Facial Soap
Moisturize - Aubrey Vegecol with Aloe Moisturizing Cream
Treat - Dermamed acne gel
Pills - Zinc, Vitamin D, Multi-vitamin, #60 Bell Skin Disorders
I've been using this regimen for quite ahile but it doesn't seem to be doing to much...
I later heard that some facial soaps can be too drying and can whipe of necessary oils from your skin
I also find that coconut oil and olive oil may cause your skin to breakout
and I think the dermame gel is a bit too drying
so...once again I came up with a regimen from some blogs I read and a website I found (mountainroseherbs.com)
Cleanse - Rhassoul clay mixed with aloe vera gel
Tone - Aloe vera gel
Moisturize - Aloe vera gel + Hazelnut oil or grapseed oil (haven't decided which oil yet)
Apparently hazelnut oil regulates sebum which appealed to me a lot

Protect - Natural sunscreen I found on the mountain roseherb site
Exfoliate - Rhassoul clay + Honey + Lemon juice (as a mask for about 10-15 min 2-3 times/week)
Treat - Lavender essential oil or Tee tree oil
Pills - Probably keep taking the supplements above
So now I just ordered all my ingredients from mountainroseherb and it's soon to come. I'm also planning on watching my diet more because I heard it's a big factor in treating acne. I will probably stay away from the sun as always (because I find it worsens my skin) and just take those vitamin D pills. What do you think of my regimen that I created so far? I think I really thought hard about what's best for me, and hopefully this regimen will work for me, and if it does I'll start recommending this to other people as well.
Well thats my story right now and wish me luck!
Thanks for reading this really long post, I appreciate it!

I guess treating acne is all about trial and error but hopefully this works for me.
