Hey guys, I stopped BP recently (2 weeks ago) and I feel that it was not a very good idea after all. While on BP, I have not pimples at all but my skin became red and very sensitive + it's time consuming/expensive.

I'm starting having acne again, I never had enormous breakout but it's always very small bump (which are very painful). It usually start with one then it spread everywhere on my chin and around my nose.

I'm following a super strict diet (Water Only, chicken/salmon/egg, almonds, green vegetables, carrots + a lot of fruits; Apple, Orange, Blueberries... the only carbs I get is from my almonds and walnuts) briefly it's the Paleo Diet

I also take Vitamin D-3 supplement (6000 UI), Zing (50mg), Fish Oil (3/day) and Niacine no flush (500mg)

I haven't drink alcohol for a while, scared that it get worst.

I never have contact with my hands and my face, I sleep on the back to avoid contact of my face and pillow.

I wash with Cetaphyl cleanser & put Cetaphyl Moister/Sunscreen during the day, I don't moisture at night since my skin is too oily on summer.

I'm jogging 45mins/day

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, I'm 20 going for 21 and I feel that it's always getting worst.

Could it be because I stopped BP? Is it going to stop after or always coming back? It's kind of frustrating to see that I'm regressing even with all the sacrifice that I am doing.

It's just frustrating that I almost stop living because of that, I mean my face right now is presentable without make-up or anything (I'm a male) but I'm always scare that it became worst (avoiding party, foods, alcohol i don't even eat subway)

thank you

I like your diet. Do you have scars? Youre on the right tract. Have you tried looking into Green smoothies or other natural vitamins and minerals that support the immune system. Check out your local health food store. Ive been taking supplements. They seem to be working. Everything works in the beginning with me for a little while so its too soon to tell. Ive also been drinking Green smoothies daily because i hear they're loaded with vitamins that are good for the skin. I mix up spinach leaves, celery, cucumbers, parsley, apple, and lemon in the blender with some ice. So far so good.

right now I changed my diet a bit, and result are simply amazing.

I don't eat any food that is acid, and I added Magnesium/probiotics/coconut oil and kefir yogurt

basically, i'm taking the kefir before having my lunch/dinner with the coconut oil and omega 3 capsule

it's kind of hard to follow, but it worth the shot

the only thing that I eat is grapefruit, eggs for breakfast, chicken salad with homemade dressing for lunch and salmon/brocoli for diner

I eat cucumber/carrots or an apple for snack and sometime if I feel cheating I go for a bar tender!

I am on this for only 5 days and the result are more than amazing, I had HUGE acne on back of my shoulder and now it's gone, simply redness/inflammation which will fade with time (not a SINGE pimple)

on my face I still breakout at the same usual place, but they are way smaller and heal after 1-2 days (so small that I don't even have pus in it.

I guess I'll be clean in few months, when my body will be ''clean'' I'm going to add some carbs to my diet gradually.

I'll check for Green smoothies! I read that It was amazing for the body, I will definitively add it in my routine.

If anybody is interested in my diet I could elaborate more, I read books on health and decided to make my own routine (probably not perfect but I'm working on it!)

Basically the purpose is to clean yourself from the inside rather than applying 300 different creams on your face, I simply use small amount of BP on spot and hope I won't have to use it anymore.

How long did you use BP for? Some people break out like crazy when they stop using it.

Also I hear nuts are a bad thing to have in an acne diet, something about them not digesting properly.

I have been on BP for 4 months and got 100% clean but with HUGE redness around my nose/chin. I dropped it had acne again for 2 weeks, and since one week i'm going paleo/probiotics and I am clear again (exception of 2 pimples which are fading right now). If i'm not clear in 2-3 months with my diet I may go back on BP but simply before bed rather than twice a day. I don't know if there is a link but I think BP makes my skin super oily in the T-zone, since I stopped it and went paleo my skin is not oily anymore (I also stopped moister & stuff, simply water & sunscreen).

I just cutted nuts, sticking to vegetables, fruit & meat.
I'm literally starving but it worth the shot, I will prob wait until I'm clean and then add some carbs (whole bread, oat etc.)

BP is so tempting, but right now I haven't break out of the entire week (wish it's not luck) and my skin feel SO better.

I'll keep you guys in touch!
