Oh my. Oh my. Okay. Okay. So.

Basically, I have had pretty moderate-severe acne since as early as 6th grade. Whiteheads, blackheads, cystic, the whole nine yards - the only good thing is that I never got very permanent scars, just a lot of hyperpigmentation that fades over time.

But.

Recently, my acne has been a little better - only 0-2 active "big" pimples at a time. However, about a week ago I got a whole different sort of pimple... it felt cystic, but not quite the same as others I've had. It felt like a normal inflamed pimple that should be popped easily, so i foolishly kept picking/squeezing at it.

It scabbed over, and I figured okay; so now it'll go away like always. Today the scab looked "ready" so I peeled it off (I know, DUMBEST THING EVER but I just can't NOT pick), expecting a pink spot as always... BUT INSTEAD, I find this PIT.

A FUCKING PIT. IN MY FACE.

I am very afraid that his will be my first actual scar other than hyperpigmentation; it is still slightly active-looking, so is there anything I can do to minimize the damage I have done? I know this is probably my fault for picking, but I pick all the time and this has never happened before.

Just apply some fresh aloe vera gel from the plant and it should heal right up. Dont worry.

Lucky you don't get perm scars.. I get scars easily. I need a laser treatment in the future if treating it naturally doesn't work

Lavender oil help so much! I have done the same thing! And levender oil promotes skin cell regeneration and will help do wonders! Dilute a few cops in a carrier oil like olive oil or something else like moisturizer. I hope this help! I use this all over my face and it really does do a great job in preventing those nasty scars we all hate!
