I used to spot treat with clindamycin, but since that ran out I've been looking into other options.
I was toying around with some salicylic acid spot treatments (clinique and clean & clear) and got some results from spot treating over a period of 3 to 4 days.
what salicylic spot treatment is the best? preferably one that i can pick up at a local drug store.
I like BP at night time but throughout the day I need something clear, so I dont have a white spot on my face.
What's The Best Salicylic Acid Spot Treatment?

Stridex makes 1% and 2% salicylic acid pads that are alcohol-free. I saw them for 2.99 at Rite-Aid. They have a very strong menthol scent but if you are just spot treating maybe you will be able to tolerate it.
Another suggestion is 10% De La Cruz Sulfur Ointment which sells for around 5.00 many chain pharmacies. I buy mine at Rite-Aid and I saw it selling online at Walgreens. It also has an odor, but it's mild. If the 10% is too strong for you, it can be diluted with water.

I hear a ton of good things about the Neutrogena On The Spot Treatment, although I have never tried it myself.
