Hi guys, I came off proaccutane just over 2 years ago due to bad acne on my face. Nowadays, I only get the odd pimple here and there Posted Image However, I've been left with scarring on my face Posted Image I've booked an appointment with the dermatologist but it's not until November time. So i was wondering if anyone could give me advice on anything I could do/products to use which could help my scarring.

Many thanks!

They look kinda cool actually...

Anyway, the ones at the temples are very common pitted scars. Many, many people have these. The ones around the mouth and nose seem like rolling scars, but I'm not too sure.

Not on your own, no. Especially for rolling scars, those can't be fixed except by anything other than subcision or ablative fractional lasers.

If you have very shallow pitted scars, there are reports by some people that they can be somewhat improved (not completely removed) by topical tretinoin. Stuff like Retin-A or any OTC topical retinoid at .05% would do. Basically, (you might already know this) topical tretinoin speed up the skin cycle, resulting in faster cell turnover and thus causing faster healing (if your body thinks there is any healing to be done). It takes several months to see any results from that kind of regimen, though, and even then the results will be minor.

Honestly, though, I think your scars look kinda ruggedly cool. They look more akin to shaving scars, like cowboys back in the day used to have.
