Hi Guys
Brief history- I'm nearly 25, history of acne since god knows, a child applying numerous potions and taking different tablets. Ended in rocaccutane at 17. Brilliant. Spots started coming back around 21/22. Prescribed duac once daily, great stuff but after using it for so long now I feel I have built a tolerance up to it.
Anyone else experienced this and what did they try after with success. It's not bad enough for a referral to dermatologist for another go on the roaccutane (and also I'd like another child so wouldn't want hormones to ruin the good work!). Should I be asking GP for a retenoid cream like retin-a? Or perhaps sticking with the duac and taking an oral antibiotic?
Your thoughts muchly appreciated!
