hi, I just began taking 20 mg of accutane for 20 days. My skin is just starting to dry out and Im hoping it will stop getting blemishes soon. I had to take a few days off because of wisdom teeth taken out (fun).
My gyno says my acne is caused by my hormone imbalance and he put me on bc pills and spiro. he says in a few months I probably wont even need accutane but I want acne gone, tired of the zits and my face is so oily!

Will accutane still work for me so long as I am treating the hormonal aspect? I had mild acne until the hormones flared, then my skin got super oily and I got a lot more breakouts and big pimples. I really want acne gone and I am so weary of dealing with breakouts.

also you can try nizoral shampoo it shrinks the sebaceous glands [the same thing accutane does] but if your on accutane then no need to use nizoral

did u take saw plametto? if yes then u didnt take enough.

I did try it maybe I didnt take enough.
