I have been doing the full dose of Bp and am in my third week. My skin is almost clear, but my nose is covered in large blackheads. The BP and jojoba oil seem to be drying it out but it isn't a peeling mess. Over time will the BP heal and shrink the blackheads? I'm tempted to exfoliate my nose but don't want to aggravate my skin and undo the hard work of just being gentle. (I used to exfoliate twice a day.) Will this regime also heal hyperpigmentation a/k/a melasma with time?

I recommend a 2% salicylic acid leave-on cream (not a cleanser) that you leave on overnight or during the day. If used consistently for a number of weeks, you should notice the acid dissolving the sebum in your pores. Benzoyl peroxide never seemed to do anything for my blackheads.

The BP does not rally hep with the hyper pigmentation. Time will. You can using lemon and honey on your face and they will lighten them up within a month if used every night! I have done it and one month later the mark was completely gone. :)

BP doesn't really do much to help with blackheads. I agree with Green Gables, try using a 2% salicylic acid lotion or gel on your nose to help with the blackheads.

How much lemon and honey did you use? How would I incorporate it into the regime? Apply it first?

Well what I do it is I get about 2 tablespoons of moisturizer, 1 teaspoon of honey (or the more the better), and I put this mixture into a separate little container. I use this only in the night time. As for the lemon you can only add lemon juice if it is the pasteurized kind that is sold the he store and you could mix in a teaspoon or so. If you do not want to buy that you could apply fresh lemon juice ( just enough to cover your face) and then on top of that put the moisturizer that has the honey mixed into it. Trust me they two work wonders in brightening you scar and spots. They are by far better than anything product that you could purchase in the store, and only for a fraction of the price.

Is that confusing? If it is tell me so that I can make it a little clearer Posted Image

Sorry if it is I am sort of rushing because I have to get to school in a bit. Posted Image

Oh and first do the regimen! Then apply this in place of the moisturizer!
