hi :)

I'm curious what people have for breakfast.
Especially those who avoid gluten, very curious.

As mentioned I've never had a massive problem with gluten, none at all that I've noted. my usual breakfast is oats cooked on the stove with (as of now) almond milk (used to use rice milk but trying almond). I also put a bit of manuka honey in and some ground cinnamon and a bit of banana and apple (and sometimes brazil nuts as I also have no known issue with nuts).

I'm curious what others have for breakfast, or any suggestions?
I realized I would have no idea what to have, ever, if I didn't have oats >.<

Thanks for any suggestions/input!

when i was avoiding gluten, i would eat rice, oats, buckwheat, millet, legumes and potatos. ofcourse soon i found out there are problems with each of them as well -_- but if you ask me unless you know for sure or have found out you have problems with any of them, eat them? i think buckwheat was only one who didnt have problems with it, then there is also this quinoa and sweet potatos that i personally havent tried and maybe some other grains idk. you also should soak them overnight before cooking and so..

i wonder what others will say

also how can you have same breakfast every day? :/

I don't have any problems with gluten but I really really like Teff flour pancakes. Gluten free and high in minerals. U can also have veggie egg white frittata, rice puffs, all fruit breakfast etc.

It's best to avoid grains in general, atleast for a while and until your acne heals.
I'd have a fruit smoothie for breakfast with added coconut oil, and sometimes egg yolks. Lots of calories and lots of nutrients from it.

Eggs + veggies - I like an omelet with spinach, onion and tomato, and then I usually add a side of veggies and hummus as dip
Green smoothies - There's a thread in this forum that goes into more detail, very delicious :)
Gluten free oats - Only occasionally, with almond milk, cinnamon, stevia, and berries

A big gigantic smoothie and a cup of green tea. This has been my "power breakfast" for years now, and I usually ate this for breakfast even before I was gluten free. I'll never understand why a lot of people assume that for some strange reason you have to eat grains in the morning, or at all.
