I would like to know how to select just a portion of a message in my reply in the forum. I have tried but I get the error message " there are not the same amount of opening and closing quotes" although there is a quote at the beginning and at the end of my selection. Thank you!

If you press the quote button at the bottom of someones post, the reply box shows you that post and it has quote code in brackets at the start and end. As long as you leave the quote code at the start and at the end, you can remove any parts of the message you don't wish to include. Make sure you include the code at the start and end, including the brackets, otherwise you get the error message. Hope that helps. Posted Image
