I'm literally taking the lowest dosage there is, 55 mg. once a day. Will this make it any less effective against acne? It's been a month and while I know it takes a while to work, I don't really feel like paying for three months worth if it's not going to do anything.

Hey there. I'm on solodyn 105MG tablets, and it's not doing much for my skin. I think the reason for this is the fact that I took minocycline years ago (was very effective for about a year) but then my body built up a resistance to it. The one thing that annoys me about solodyn is how expensive it is. I have a derm appointment on August 13th and I'm looking to get a new prescription ASAP.

That sucks. I don't feel like it's doing much of anything for me either...maybe I'm just not patient enough, but it feels like I should be seeing some difference after a month plus of being on it.

Hopefully you find something that works for you!
