As stated in the title, if you have any experience or opinions on treating shallow (specifically boxcar in my case) scars with subcision, please share. I'm hitting a wall with finding a doctor to do this procedure on my scars. Today, I met with one who was actually willing to do it, combined with suction or saline, but he said it's unlikely I'll see any improvement because my scars are too shallow. He also said there is a slight risk of keloid scarring when treating shallow scars with this method. Despite his opinion, I want to try it, but I am wondering if I am just being desperate at this point.
Appreciate any opinions you can provide.
Thanks!
