Ok so I know I'm a girl but shaving was my only method of removing upper lip hair while studying abroad for a month. I had been using a dull razor (stupid I know) and irritated one corner/side of my lip while shaving. Also stupidly, I picked at the irritation and it got MUCH more dry/irritated over the next few days. Like to the point where it hurt to smile, I couldn't yawn without it cracking, etc.
I got home and the dryness subsided, so I put a little hydroquinone on the slight discoloration there. Bad move because it got irritated again and even darker. I've stopped using anything there except lemon juice to try and lighten it. Will this fade naturally over time??? Someone please help! I'm going to the derm on Wednesday to ask the doctor.
