Just make sure that you are very very very patient while on this regimen because for some people i has taken about 3-4 months to have very clear skin and other It took about 1 month. So i all depends on your body. If you want we can go through this journey together! And just understand it is going to get worse before it will get better with most individuals so do not be discouraged with the days where you just want to give up because your breakouts are out of control.
But as the weeks go by and you still have breakouts you WILL notice that they are going away much quicker! and sooner or later you will have awesome looking skin!

Yes this is very very normal! Many people starting the regimen continued to break out till maybe about 6-8 weeks in. I have just started about for days ago and I get about 2-3 new pimples everyday. I have had about 20-30 active pimples all throughout my face even before starting the regimen. Check out my pictures they are gross. I am documenting my process through pictures so that people can see exactly what is happening. You should try doing this too?

Ahh thank you so much! This was just what I was looking for. Your pictures look so much like mine, I'll get some pictures up one of these days to track my progress and let other people follow too.
I'd love it if we could go through the regimen together (sounds a bit creepy hahah), I think it would be really helpful to have mutual support from someone who understands! I've been told several times to quit because of how bad it looks at the moment..Anyway yes, chins up right? We'll get there eventually!

I started the regimen around 10 months ago, and I was determined that this was going to be my last ditch effort to get rid of my acne once and for all. I followed Dan's instructions exactly (apart from upping the BP too early, but I soon rectified that) and didnt add any other steps, products or varied his instructions in any way. In the first week my acne started drying up and I got really excited, but in week two I had a horrendous break out and my skin was worse than ever. But when that breakout finally started healing my skin just started getting clearer and clearer, with fewer and fewer new breakouts. Once my skin became accustomed to the BP and stopped being so dry and flaky I was left with clear and glowing skin for the first time in my life since I was 13 (im now 40, so yes a lifetime living with acne).
So if you're breaking out worse than ever in the first few days, I doubt you will get a second 'purge'. Good luck with it all, and remember when you hit the awful dry, burning itchy skin stage, just persevere and you will be rewarded.

Yay! Yes I think that support is very important! We can keep each other in "check" so to speak haha. We can get through this together can tell each other what I going on and if things are getting better and encourage each other. With all the success stories that I have read through I am so sure we will get there. There is this youtube video you should really check it out. Her acne is not as bad as mine was but still it is a great story that made start!

That's the video I watched that finally encouraged me to buy the regimen!! She says that she saw results in the first week but I think it's because her acne wasn't as severe, either way her skin looks amazing right now! How are you doing today? My skin is itching and burning soooooo bad :/
Hey girls, keep the positive thoughts going, its nice to see.

My skin? I broke out yesterday with about 8-10 new pimples. They were on my cheek, chin, and my forehead. pretty much scattered everywhere. However when I woke up this morning I feel less pimples already which is i guess a positive thing. I am still waiting for the bad breakout of the second week everyone seems to be commenting they got. Not looking forward to it. But that needs to happen before our skin heals completely. My skin is dry where I have active pimples, flaky around the mouth area and that is about it for now. How is your skin doing? How many days are you in now Clara?
I posted a picture this morning. Skin looks gross and dead after I woke.
And yes in that video her acne was not as severe as mine so I am guessing her results were great. Our will just take a little while longer.

Mmm yeah my skin is looking quite a bit better..my scattering of forehead whiteheads is staying put, but no new ones up...some new whiteheads on the cheeks/chin but no huge, under the skin zits. Either way I have to keep reminding myself that I'll have another breakout next week so I'm prepared! I'm 4 days in now, with a little flaking but mostly burning/itching
