Hey all,

I'm new to the boards, and am glad to finally be able to share my acne problems !

I've attached a picture of the left side of my face, I'm having trouble identifying what type of acne/scarring this is.

Any recommendations on what to use will help lots, I've tried a bunch of things but nothing seems to work.

looks like red marks/hyperpigmentation which is what I have. I'm guessing it's relatively smooth right? The good news is it fades with time but you should use natural methods like aloe vera, manuka honey, don't put any irritating products on your face cause it needs to heal

I would get a leave-on cream with glycolic acid, 5% to 10%. Something like Skin Perfect 8% Glycolic. http://www.paulascho...ercent-aha-gel/

Start out applying it 3 times a week. Can work up to every other day if your skin can handle it.

Well I basically use st Ives apricot scrub with 2% s. acid , then use the anti wrinkle deep cream retinol at night .

I've used aloe Vera in gel form, but I guess I need the pure kind ?

And yes it's smooth, which is driving me crazy because it looks like this but feels smooth .

Where do you usually get your glycolic acid ? Cvs/Walgreens?
