I hope so, because the worst part of this all, is the lost time that I'm going to be trying to make up for.

Is the treatment you're discussing this one that is available now in London?

I have a consultation next week for 'Infini' and dermafiller treatments - but I guess I should look into this also?

yes! you're so fortunate to be living in a country where it's available..you should def look into Recell; it is probably the best treatment for scars currently on the market

I will discuss this during my consultation next week, for sure.

Prices for ReCell here start at £3500 - EEK!!!

Can't put a price of good results though I guess.

I had a consult with for the recell and dermabrasion and honestly, it seems like the results will not be worth the cost

i've seen tremendous results with recell/fraxel repair and decent results w the recell/dermabrasion..I would def give it a try..i genuinely feel it trumps all other treatments available except for maybe stem cell fat graft..

Why not? Did you give you final result expectations?

they say the cost starts from 5000 pounds for dermabrasion and recell . And there will be improvement , by as to how much they cannot say for sure.

5000 pounds is a bomb

Any news on Recell lately? Why is it taking so long befor it recieves FDA approval? I have decided to do the treatment in UK, but I am really scared thet something will go wrong, either that I end up worse or that there will not be any imrovement. There are actually not so many before after stories or photos out there, and I was thinking there will be lots more once they start using tre treatment in th US. Also its a lot of money to spend, and I was hoping the price would fall slightly when they release it in the US.

Here is a link to a news article on Recell. It seems that Michael (who posted about his Recell experience here), is still happy with his results six months after having Recell.

haven't heard much recently. unfortunately, the fda(government) is a highly defective entity and will take an eternity for approval of an effective treatment that half the world already has. that being said, i think we will have a clearer pictures once the investors presentation for avita medical comes out in February. I really hope it will be approved by mid 2015, but i doubt it.

From the previous article: they are going to begin trials in early 2015 by attempting to recruit 25 burn victims until the end of the year. The last time they did this they couldn't find many people so the trials never started. This time they have an expanded criteria so hopefully they'll be able to find 25 persons. Each person will need to be followed for 12 months.

So 2015 = recruitment. Trials maybe another year so 2016 = trials end. Approval might take more months so who knows when this will be out. 2016-2017?

Either way I feel this Recell thing only speeds up recovery and enhances the underlying procedures (laser, dermabrasion, etc) to provide slightly better results.

sigh…guess ill just have to wait a few more long and painstaking years..its all absurd to me though how both celution and recell are approved in most parts of Europe for quite some time now but here in the U.S they're still stalled in trials. we're lagging so far behind other countries in new drugs and treatments its becoming ludicrous; perhaps its time to move out of here I'm thinking either austrailia or U.K: which place is better? lol
