Hi guys, am excited that i'm about to start the regimen really soon. Just out of curiosity, i live in a tropical country and it's constantly hot and humid 24/7, to the extent that my face is instantly oily when i step out of the house. Due to this, several dermatologist I've visited said that there is no need for a moisturizer due to how oily my skin already is. So, should i start using moisturizer when starting the regimen? I know that this is already addressed in the FAQs but I'm afraid to even touch moisturizers as I've had many bad experiences with them.

Yes!!!!!!!!! If you do not follow the regimen just as it says the results are not guaranteed! I have just started it three days ago, check out my skin, it is pretty severe in the photos in my gallery. The regimen is the way to go! If you want we can support each other till we get that clear skin we deserve. I am taking a picture as often as i can to update how my skin is doing! you should do! It helps for you to see your progress and helps other people that need that inspiration. Do the regimen. Precisely. Word for word no matter how oily your skin is. The Benzoyl peroxide will dry it out no matter how oily your skin is now. Do it! I want you to succeed with me!

I'd also like to encourage following the regimen precisely. I've personally had such great results doing so, that I could hardly recommend anything else. Despite having very oily skin myself, the regimen has worked for me.
The idea is that benzoyl peroxide is very drying, so you'll need a moisturizer whether or not you normally have oily skin. Use the regimen strictly as instructed for the first couple of months. If you feel you need to adjust after that, do it. Just get clear first.

I second the above two posts. Follow the regimen exactly as Dan prescribes and you will get great results. Make sure you moisturise, each of the three steps are as important as each other. As Luminareo says above, first get clear and then you can adjust/experiment with the regimen until you find the right balance of how much product to use while still remaining clear.

Haha yup! Just askin, is it hot at where you stay? I've noticed that whenever I stay for prolonged periods outdoors during morning/afternoon I would almost instantly breakout the next day.
During the holidays however, when I mostly only go out in the evenings, breakouts are less frequent and less severe.
I stay in Singapore btw, summer 24/7

YES! Arizona is very very very hot! The summer average from 110-115F everyday for like 4-3 months straight. Dan said in one of his videos that if you live in a climate that is hot or humid or even both then you have to take more precautions. You have to use use bp when you go outside and more at night too. This is al least till the weather cools off. So yeah I have also noticed that and it is because when it is warm your blood is more active and can cause breakouts a lot easier than the cool weather. I just apply more bp. It is supposed to help.

When do you plan on getting you regimen supplies?

Hopefully by next month cause the shipping fees(50+) are more expensive than the products itself, so I've mass ordered with a couple of people to share the cost. Idk when it'll arrive though.
Been keeping my acne at bay with cetaphil and akne-mycin... It's doing an okay job.
Hows the regimen treating you so far?:D

So far still getting a few pimples everyday but they go away in two days which is not something I ma used to haha they normally take a week or two. So far I am just being patient as possible because this regimen takes patients. And lots of it! I can't wait till I reach the one month mark I just want time to hurry up but the more that I think about it the slower the days go by haha.
