Well, I finally found a regimen that works. I've been on minocycline, BP, differin, and clindamycin now for 3 months and a around 2 weeks ago I finally began to notice improvements. The funny thing is, my right side of my face that was much worse than the left side, is actually much clearer than the left now.

Now the problem is, the right side of my face (and soon the left) is completely clear of pimples, and totally smooth. It feels as it did a year ago before I had any acne what so ever. However, from a foot away you would never know. My whole face is full of small red dots where I used to have pimples. I don't know if its scars because they are flat (you can't feel them), but it sure looks like I still have pimples all over my face.

How do i get rid of these? Also, can I stop Benzoyl Peroxide, that is extremely irritating and makes my face bright red (but it works, I would rather have a red face than a red spotted face).

Your second question, either:

1. You're using more BP then your skin can handle
2. Not enough moisturizer (Try jobaba oil if you haven't already)
3. You're allergic to the brand of BP

It was probably the combination of the first two, at least that was what it was for me. Try reducing BP and increase the amount of moisturizer to see if it helps with the irritation.

Get a retinoid prescription from your dermatologist.

Alternatively, you can try an AHA leave-on lotion, or a glycolic or lactic peel.

I linked you to a thread I have posted on several times about natural products that help hyperpigmentation. I have lots of red marks, too, and they have significantly faded with time, raw honey and turmeric. :) Let me know if this helps you.

I have both Differin (adapalene) and Retin-A micro (tretinoin) at home, and I am currently using the Differin. Would the Retin-A work better or faster?

There is no need to use both...I would use up all the Differin and then just stick to the Retin A Micro. Retin A Micro is a stronger retinoid.

I've sometimes gotten acne scars, and i have a very sensitive skin. So I use a honey mask at least once a week (which has really helped!!) and also every night after washing my face i use Rosehip Oil. It's very good for scars, stretch marks etc. Even though it's oil, it doesn't clog your pores :) Hope this helps!
