I've always had moderate acne since I turned 16, I'm 23 now. I used dans cleanser along with his BP gel for over 3 years, and always still had moderate acne, and due to being in the sun and using BP I had really bad red skin.

I was injured in Iraq and was medically evacuated, I'm pretty sure the main cause was due to stress but my acne flared up like it never had before. I had acne on my neck, back, etc and I wasn't sure what to do. I tried completely changing my diet for months and it did help somewhat but my acne was still pretty bad. I went to the doctor and got a script for doxycycline it somewhat helped but I had pretty bad side effects.

While I was on doxycycline I decided I would try to stop using benzoyl peroxide and dans cleanser. It was costing too much money and I got tired of my sun being burnt all of the time. I stopped using benzoyl peroxide and was not breaking out, but I decided I would also stop using the doxy. I started breaking out again but I started using baby wash, Johnson n Johnson brand to clean my face once in the morning and once at night. My acne stopped in about a week, I started using the baby wash on my entire body and I no longer break out. I've been using baby wash once in the morning and once at night for the last 6 months and I no longer have any acne, and my face is no longer red. I wish I tried this before I started stuffing my face with chemicals I'm sure my skin would be a lot healthier. I hope this helps somebody.

If only it were that easy lol...honestly. I doubt its the johnson n johnson, you most likely just grew out of your acne...believe it or not it happens. Thanks for sharing though, who knows, its possible that the J&J helped!...and more importantly thanks for serving! Posted Image

I did also thought I outgrew my acne, but when I stopped doxy the acne came back. I have stopped using Johnson n Johnson and when I did somewhere in a week time frame my acne came back. My face is still very oily but I just wash my face with water about twice through out the day with no soap and it helps with the oiliness. I'm not trying to praise babywash, lol but it did completely clear me up and keeps me clear. No more benzoyl peroxide and doxy! Also when I first started using it I only used it on my face and still had acne on my back and chest, when I used it as a complete bodywash the acne on my body went away. I also think the BP was actually making my skin worse... Anyways it's about 3-4 bucks a bottle if you're out of options this might be for you..

I remember how bad I felt about my skin and how hopeless I felt when nothing I was doing fixed it, I just hope this method will work for somebody else as well. I use the yellow bottle, I'm not sure if they have another type. I also used a moisturizer every now and then because dans cleanser dried my face up but when I used the babywash I never had any issues with my skin getting over dry.

What do you think it is in that product that works so well? Or is it just the absence of chemicals.

I don't think that there's some magic acne fighting ingredient inside of the J&J, I believe it is the absence of chemicals. I think that my skin was getting progressively worse from all of the chemicals I was stuffing it with over the years, but it still needed to be cleaned with something very gentle. This stuff is extremely gentle, you could even put it in your eyes and they wouldn't burn.

are you sure the acne came back after the doxy? a strong course of antibiotics might have eradicated your acne...
