Hey guys, I am finishing a 12 weeks benzoyl peroxide treatment (acnefree, washing my face twice a day + moisture) and it worked pretty good (almost clear of pimples!) But I still have huge inflammation on both side of my nose and redness around my nostril and a little bit on my chin. I also have very dry skin and a kind of pink/white decoloration on my upper lips.

I don't have the chance to see a dermatologist (I need recommendation of a doctor) and I would like to know if my inflammation/redness are going to pass with time or should I apply Hydrocortisone on it (if yes, when to apply on my routine).

I could also pass to see the doctor for a prescription, if there is no accessible product that I could use.

Right now i'm drinking water like crazy with fish oil & zinc supplement, i'm still using BP but the redness don't seem to go away

thanks for help!

In answer to the post title, meh, it could, you could argue that back when my grandma was a kid/teen, they had nothing for acne, only time. However, acne is not normal, and things can be done to help prevent it/stop it/cure it.
Keep going with your usual regimen if it works, if it works, don't change it

Well, problem is that i'm kind of ''stuck'' with the benzoyl peroxide, I feel like it's not doing anything anymore and I just use it to prevent (I'm scare to stop using it and acne come's back, like it did in the past)

Right now i'm at studying so my scars/redness doesn't matter really, but i'm finishing next year and since i'm working in public I wish that I could fix it during the year.

I'm still thinking about giving Hydrocortisone a shot (before going to bed, after I moisture) but I don't know if it's good to use it while still using BP

I could update a pic tho

thank you
