Just started using Erythromycin (3%) and Benzoyl Peroxide (5%) Topical Gel and my face looks even worse than it did before I started using it a few days ago. Is it supposed to get worse before it gets better? If that's the case, then how long before it gets better? This looks so awful...

Or can someone recommend me a face lotion that I can use with it that won't break me out?

Ugh, when will this end... I won't be a teenager anymore in a few weeks and my face still looks like a pizza.

I've been using Erythromycin and Benzoyl Peroxide for about 2 years. I don't remember an initial break out and this did help clear me up. I ran out of though and I stayed clear for a month afterwards. This was a while ago though. Unfortunately my acne is back and I'm currently on Minocycline, retin-a, and Erythromycin and Benzoyl Peroxide (got more). I'm sorry I can't remember how long it took for me to clear up. Hopefully this'll work for you!
