Clindamycin And Now Doxycycline?

Took a 6mo course of Doxy, great results, stopped, acne came back. Then started Clinda 300mg for 4 weeks, slight improvement, and now prescribed Doxy again.. Will it start to get worst now since I stoped Clinda or will Doxy maintain the results?
