I believe my scarring is from the light to moderate scarring range. I have sort of a half ring of scarring from my temple to underneath my eyes on both sides, but its not too severe. What I wonder about lasers is can they cause worse damage if they are used on skin that is not very badly scarred to begin with? Or are lasers only for deep scarring? Thanks for any help!

its possible if your Dr. has no idea what they are doing.
your biggest concern is hyper-pigmentation (pro-longed redness).
as long as you let your skin heal and dont mess with it then no it should not cause scarring, but if you laser your face and pop a pimple while healing then yes that could definatly cause scarring,
