I just wanted to share this story with you guys. in 2008 I went to Bangladesh it is a small country next to India. I planned on staying there for a month or so. For a week my acne flared up and was going absolutely crazy. But after 2 weeks I guess I had travelers diarrhea and after that my acne was completely gone. I am still unsure of what caused it because I still ate white rice and I still drank milk and ate plenty of unhealthy foods. But my acne was still gone. However when I came back to America it came back within the first two weeks. =[ Just wanted to share this personal story.

interesting, must be something in the air! pun partially intended. Posted Image

you're from New York, right? i would think the warmer climate in Bangladesh would be worse for acne. what do i know?

how did your daily routine change while you were there? were you being more active than when you're in America?

Well I can't really say I mean I was visiting relatives often but its not like I played sports or anything (I play a lot of basketball in NY) however I didn't use any skin products such as creams or moisturizers or cleansers.

Im sure if you went over the exact dietary differences we would be able to get it down to single ingredients that are in your American diet which were not in the diet across seas. Combined with the difference in bowel habits, the answer I'm sure is very logical.

Unfortunately I can definitely tell you it was nothing in the food. I ate the exact same food I ate here. I actually ate more junk food over there. And this has happened to all my friends who went to this country.

hmm. it could have been the food. Maybe the dairy that that is in bangeldesh is less pumped up than what is here. I doubt they use the same crap as many countries shun our food practices. Add to the fact that you cleaned yourself out got rid of toxins as well. When I went to Brazil all the food was different. Even the junk food at the time didn't have HFCS which i thought was odd because it's ok for us to eat that but not other people. Just a thougth
