Why Did Steroids Cure My Acne?

I was put on a high dosage of steroids for my autoimmune hepatitis, i noticed it cleared all my pimples and cysts up i seriously didnt have 1 cyst or pimple on my face or body, but then when i starting coming down off the steroids the pimples/cysts returned.

So my question is, whats in the steroids that cured my skin?

A bloody shame i cant stay on that stuff forever -_-

I was taking 60mg of Prednisone steroids

Killed the acne bacteria, I suppose.

nope,it reduced the inflammations.however, long term dosage of steroids are not encouraged.
